Participation Waiver for Pickleball

Waiver: In consideration of my [and/or my child(s)] participation in this activity, I hereby release and discharge the Hudson Community Pickleball Association, Inc., and its representatives, successors, and assigns, from all liability arising from accident, injury, and illness that I (he/she) may suffer as a result of my (our) participation in this activity. I acknowledge that all activities involve the potential risk of accident, injury or illness. I (he/she) assume such risks freely. I (we) will also follow the rules and regulations set by the HCPA or St. Croix YMCA camp. Parent or guardian must sign for anyone age 18 and under. I do hereby grant and give HCPA the right to use my or my child(s) photograph or image with or without my or my child(s) name, both singly and in conjunction with other persons or objects and presentations, advertising, publicity, and promotion relating thereto.

Behavior Disclaimer

The mission of USAPA is to promote the growth and development of pickleball. This sport will succeed best if its players embrace the values of good sportsmanship. The goal of HCPA is to assure that players have an enjoyable experience. HCPA players and guests should: 1. Not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct or encourage others to do so. 2. Not engage in any behavior that would endanger the health, safety or wellbeing of others. 3. Not engage in the use of profanity or inappropriate language toward others. 4. Treat others with respect. 5. Exhibit fairness and honesty in their dealings with others. 6. Will observe the Golden Rule of doing unto others as I would have them do unto me.

Credit Card Security

For security purposes all credit card data is transmitted directly to Stripe, our payment processor. No credit card data is sent to or stored on the HCPA website. Stripe is certified as a Level 1 Service Provider, which is the highest level of certification for payment processors. Stripe complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
